Commentaire Penfolds Koonunga Hill 2004
Vin Rouge produit par Penfolds sur South Australia, Australie-
17,5 (sur 20) by edwardragg Blogueur du vin
Appearance: dark purple-red, slight discoloration on the rim. Nose: leather and tobacco first nose backed by dark fruits and light oak aromas (even though the Koonunga Hill wines are aged in large hogsheads, a percentage of the wine can see new American oak). Palate: fruitier on the palate than the nose even, big tannic structure here (OK, not that of Grange obviously, but definitely there), nice acidity and good length. Conclusion: well put-together and very appealing to drink now. Could be aged until 2012, however.
